My work is about the romance of the Victorian era -- a time when secret conversations, or not so secret as the case might have been, were held through the exchange of flowers. Even the arrangement of the flowers was important; for instance, if you had thornapple, orange blossom, purple columbine, iris, white clover, primrose, and spider flower, a poem from the flower meanings could read like this:

Last night I dreamed of thee,
And our eternal love,
I am resolved to win your affections,
I have faith that you think of me,
But I simply can’t live without you another day,
Elope with me straight away!

There are also flowers that mean 'yes' or 'no' so one could respond to arrangements that asked a question or, in this instance, reply to a proposal.

As you can see this pastime was very romantic and fragrant too!

♥The art pendants make great bridal gifts, for the bride or the bridesmaids. One idea for use would be to coordinate the bridesmaids dress with the pendant color and bouquet. Think how gorgeous those photos would be!

♥They also make great gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers/new birth, or just-because. Many deal with the theme of love, and would be great to give that special someone, but others are on friendship and attributes. There's something here for everyone. Take your time, look around, and indulge in guilty pleasures.

♥If you prefer longer lengths for your necklaces, please feel free to convo me. I am happy to oblige by increasing the ribbon length for your particular pendant. I've found that 33 inches (about 16.5 inches when doubled) is an excellent alternative.

♥If the metal frame on the pendant you are looking at is not to your liking, convo me and I'm sure we can change things to something more suitable for your tastes. This can only be done on pendants photographed on corkboard backdrops.
