Hello!
I'm a mom to Daughter Keira Isabelle who is 2 1/2 yrs old. I live with my husband, daughter and two dogs (Chester a golden retriever and Geisha a mixed dog) in Lodi CA.

I've been an artist since born I would say... Since I can remember I've been drawing and creating.
From the age of 9 to 17 I lived with my mother in Europe where I was exposed to many different art styles, architecture and museums. Those experiences have no doubt sculpted my personal style as an artist.

I started really getting into art and different techniques in high school where I had a supportive art teacher whom allowed me to be a little different and do basically whatever I wanted with art (no I didn't get those boring assignments that everyone else did) and in turn I won 1st place in our senior art show.

Now my art is just evolving and I'm trying new things everyday.
I really enjoy watercolor and mixed media most.
I lean towards a Victorian/Gothic style in a lot of my work, but also have a whimsical lighthearted style.
I love nature which is also apparent in my work.

I love to rework old pieces, so many of my frames are antiques which I then restore. I let the art speak to me and customize each frame to really mesh well with the art work.



Besides art I enjoy gardening, reading books, writing poetry and furniture restoration. I love,love, LOVE dogs. I love my dogs, A golden retriever and a boston/pom mix. But I love all dogs and most everyone's dogs (unless they are unsocial or bad behaved). I love animals though, especially little, weird, cute ones like sugar gliders or koalas.
I like insect collecting, butterflies and moths, as you can tell if you've ever ordered from me (tags and thank you's have bugs on them).
I think the Victorian era is really cool and interesting and ghosts, witches, fairys, potions, magic, etc. peak my interest. I like beetles and bats and jars and Halloween and glass domes. October is my favorite month. I love trees in Fall. I Love Fall.
I love really old books. I like to read them and smell them. Sounds weird but I LOVE the smell of old books. Sometimes I'll paint and draw on a page from an old book, but it does make me sad to rip the page out...
I like stories like wizard of oz and Alice in wonderland.
I love to cook and recently came up with an awesome soup recipe called "Tangy Mango" soup, I put mangoes in it.
