Bio

After raising my two children, I have decided I want a simpler life. Quiting a career of 25 years as a hairdresser was a tremendous life change a few years back. One I have not regretted, there were so many other things I wanted to try. I got a couple of part time jobs, and started "tinkering." I garden, have horses, recycle wood and other items, and just recently got chickens.

Because I didn't want to mess up good wood when I got my first saw, I started making things from discarded wood and wooden furniture. I fell in love! Bringing out an old piece, or completely remaking an item is really fulfilling.

Collecting vintage and antiques is a hobby I have enjoyed all my life. I am so thankful I have quiet a few of both my grandparents belongings.
