Hello and welcome! My name is Pearl from St.Louis, Missouri. I started avant après fashion in the spring of '08 after having collected a closet full of vintage clothing from my previous 4 years in NYC. After graduating from Parsons School of Design in May, I came back home and decided to start this store to share all that I had acquired.

The name, avant après fashion, was devised from my love of vintage and creating. Avant meaning "before" and Après meaning "after" in French. I often alter or create new garments from vintage items that are too large, torn, or need an uplift.

avant après fashion sells not only "before-after" vintage creations, but also, every day vintage apparel hand sourced from my travels around the US.
