I started knitting 14 years ago. My sister told me about Etsy about two years ago and I was inspired to sell my knits!

Then I started adding patches to my knit hats (I could just dust off my old sewing machine I bought when I was in 4-H, right?).
Then I decided to sell the patches on their own.
Then I thought maybe I could put patches on coffee cozies.
Then I started knitting with handspun yarn.
Then I got my own drop spindle and started spinning my own yarn.
I recently bought a spinning wheel and took a class.
What's next, a sheep in the backyard?

I craft in my spare time. I love what I make and am compelled to craft every chance I get. I am also a mother and full-time teacher.

----------ABOUT MY HOME----------

Everything is created in an animal and smoke free home. Fabrics and garments have been washed and dried in fragrance-free detergent. I make a note in the item description whenever I use materials that may have been exposed to allergens.

----------SHIPPING----------

US buyers: Items ship first class mail with delivery confirmation. (Patches and bookmarks are the only exception - no delivery confirmation on those.)

I can no longer ship to non-US addresses. It's not you! It's me. I just can't get to the post office anymore.

I ship with reused and recycled materials whenever possible. Buying handmade is sometimes an investment and always a treat. I wrap all items in magazines I'm done reading. They come tied with some of my own handspun yarn or tiny bits leftover from knitting items for the shop. Please recycle the packaging I send to you!
