Just so you know a little about me......born and raised in the Northwest, married to my best friend since 1976, I have two grown and married children, and ONE ADORABLE GRANDDAUGHTER!! OH, and a black lab!!
I was introduced to the wonder of sewing needles and thread that came from wooden spools growing up. Watching my mom, grandmother, and great aunt sew clothes, doll clothes, and quilts was my inpiration. Home Ec teachers and Girl Scouts leaders added to my love for sewing and crafts.
After many years of participating in holiday bazaars, involvement in quilt shops, and much encouragement from family and friends, I started my pattern business Wooden Spool Designs.
