Bio

Hello, my name is Net. I love scraps of fabric and odd buttons and making them into objects that are beautiful and useful.

Applique, quilting and collage are all processes that I use to turn tiny leftovers into objects worthy of love.

I have a degree in Fine Art, and have exhibited and sold my work for about 15 years. My current influences are Annette Tison & Talus Taylor, the quilters of Gee's Bend, Lauren Child and the "Make Do and Mend" leaflet series issued by the UK Government during WWII.

Check out my blog at http://areathriftyone.blogspot.com to read more about my creative process and for updates on new products.

Every item in my shop has been designed and handmade by me in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

Thanks for visiting my shop.
