ABOUT THE JEWELRY ARTISANS:
Serena Lee Pena is an independent jewelry designer and artisan with strong latin roots and curious style, as well. Her heritage, along with her intense interest in the arts, has spawned an eclectic medley of modern and island-inspired jewelry collections with traditional and modern flair, as well as spicy, exotic accents. Always attracted to natural beauty and vivid color, Serena's creations are a unique combination of rough, earthy pieces, infused with sparkly gemstones and precious metals, and accented with brilliantly hued glass, stones and shells of odd shapes and forms.
Her work includes 14, 18 and 22 karat gold, vermeil, sterling silver, precious gemstones, Venetian and Czech faceted glass, Swarovski crystals, and authentic, 22k gold plated sea shells and other ocean treasures.
Serena offers unique specialties and a hand made array of finely crafted, intricate designs, and also inspried custom creations, or one of a kind, elemental wire-wrapped gems, colorful vintage beading, and handformed, handpainted medallions and pendants. Every piece in Serena's Sapphire and Ice collection has at least two or three pieces of natural stone, shell, glass or gemstone, found in a mine, aside a river, or on a beach, then is hand-polished and painted, wrapped in wire or freeform, or simply cleaned and left alone to display it's natural lustre. Everything in Serena Pena's Sapphire and Ice Collection is handcrafted with pride and is an honor to share with fellow nature loving patrons and passersby.

Terri Ramos is a creative, self-taught designer of the Sapphire & Ice Men's and HardWEAR jewelry collection. Her love of simple lines and clean sharp edges in addition to her taste for fine materials such as Steel, Copper, 14k Gold, Fine Silver and Titanium have been a lovely design concept incorporated into the Sapphire & Ice Studios collection.
