Bio

Polka Dot Pancake was born out of a mutual love for all things crafty, tasty, and a long car ride from the beach. We are a team made up of Brandi and Callie, two fabulous Southern girls. We met in college in Jacksonville, Alabama, where we discovered our mutual love for creating things in a Clothing Construction class. Today, we are both teachers and still constructing and creating any chance we get, mostly on our off-days like crafty crimefighters.

What is a polka dot pancake? On the way home from our annual beach trip with our gang, we began to seriously discuss the idea of going into business together doing what we love-creating unique accessories for ourselves and our homes. We began to throw out every idea that came to mind, including possible names for our business. We talked about things we love-polka dots, and food, and so Polka Dot Pancake was born!

We both have a passion for creating, and can lose ourselves for hours in the aisles of Hobby Lobby or the thrift store and spend endless afternoons together finding new things to make. I hope you enjoy our little shop and find a little of our excitement here.

Callie also has a super secret buyer account, SweetShabbyTabby, that she uses to buy presents for Brandi when she's not looking.
