Bio
I have been making jewerly since I was in elementary school. What started as a friendship bracelet factory has grown over the years and I am super excited to where it will lead me!
I graduated with a degree in International Environmental Studies from Texas A&M University and had the opportunity to travel to Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. While there I met a local jeweler whom with I bonded. I spent much time learning techniques and the ways of the travelling artist community in South America. I returned with a new found love for jewelry and began creating some of my own designs from metal and clay.
My love for the natural world inspires the organic textures and colors I incorporate into my work.
I have taken an 8-Week Metalsmithing class at Penland School of Craft and have taught a few jewelry classes here and there. I currently work at Clayways Pottery Studio and Gallery teaching kids and adult classes and working around the studio.
