First, I have another Etsy shop where I sell my zines, fresh roasted coffee, custom and catalog 1" and 1.25" button at http://brainscan.etsy.com

So, my Grandmother Mary taught me how to sew and make clothes for my Barbie's when I was little. She always had unique notions and crafty stuff. She passed away recently and as I was going through her things I found some things for myself but there were other things that I wasn't going to be able to use.

That's why I started this shop, to pass on her vintage not vintage treat to crafters that would appreciate them. I didn't bring everything back with me yet but I will have lots of buttons, ribbons, and even some of my Nana's vintage millinery supplies. While going through her things I found her certificates for millinery classed in 1961 as well as a ribbon with "MerriBee" printed on it over and over. The shop name taken from the name she used to make hats under.
