Welcome to my little corner of Etsy!

My name is FaerieRebecca. Some of you may know me from my other Etsy shop, Toys From Nature--http://FaerieRebecca.etsy.com. I also help manage my daughters' shop, Once Under a Blue Moon (http://BlueMoonGirls.etsy.com).

I started my Waldorf homeschooling journey seven years ago when I removed my eldest daughter from her Waldorf school and decided to educate her at home. At that time, there were precious few resources for Waldorf homeschoolers--we had to fight just to be seen as a "real" way to do Waldorf education!

Nowadays it seems you can't throw a rock without hitting a Waldorf homeschooling supplier. There are catalogs of stuff, four or five different Waldorf-inspired curricula, and websites galore. Hooray! More people are coming to this wonderful education method and finding a beautiful, holistic way of living with their children.

I offer my own take on supplies you may need for your Waldorf homeschooling journey. I won't be at all offended if you look at my pictures and think, "Gee, I could make that!" *Please* do it! Make your own supplies and infuse them with your energy. Just please, don't turn around and offer them for sale here on Etsy and compete with me.

If, on the other hand, you think, "Gee, I could make that!" and then don't, I'd be thrilled if you'd purchase your supplies from me and use them in your home classroom. All of the supplies and instructions I make for sale here have been used in my own home classroom with success. I offer them to you with best wishes for success in your own classroom!
