Fernwood Woolworks is located in the Redwood National Forest in Southern Oregon. I knit socks from YOUR yarn. If you need to liquidate some of your yarn stash, purchase the "I knit socks from YOUR yarn" item and I'll E-mail you the order form to enclose with your yarn.

I also hand paint space dyed yarns which are perfect for hand knitting socks. These yarns also work wonderfully in a Circular Sock Machine. Purchase a pair of socks and tell me the shoe size, I'll custom knit them for you.

The inspiration for the colors used in my sock yarns is taken from my surroundings. The Pacific Ocean, The Smith River, the Redwoods. There could not be a better place to live. Come purchase a skein, sit and knit a while and enjoy a bit of the Redwood National Forest. Happy Knitting!
