Bio
My name is Ana Cristina Ferguson and I'm the person behind Glass & Such Studio. I make all the glass beads, jewelry, glass sculptures and gifts you find in my store and website.
In 2000 I stopped making ballet and skating costumes and started taking Fine Art classes part time. At the same time I became involved with stained glass, fused glass and finally, lampwork. In 2005 I received my Certificate in Fine Arts from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Extension and became a full time Lampworker/Jewelry Designer.
I’m a registered Self-Representing Artist #F24 and I’m a member of the Alberta Craft Council, the Aurora Borealis Fireflies (Edmonton’s Beadmakers group) and the PMC Guild.
Glass is my passion and I enjoy sharing it with my students in my home studio. I don’t have a favorite style of bead, I love them all. Truly, variety is the spice of life for me.
