Bio

I'm an ecclectic craftster currently creating mosaic and mixed media designs using broken china, stained glass, vintage jewelry, handmade tiles, beads and other items. I enjoy losing myself in the creative process - I can spend hours cutting and organizing pieces of china and glass, making tiles and beads, and putting it all together on a variety of substrates.

When I'm not crafting, I work as a social worker and health educator. Art has mostly been my avocation, and my passion for social change and helping others led me to my vocation of social work. I have a BFA in art history and masters degrees in social work and health education.

I appreciate living with a great guy who keeps smiling even when he's stepped on the millionth piece of broken china or glass. We also share our home with his four children, my awesome step kids,and two kitties.
