Bio

When I was growing up, my best friend's mom had a huge jar full of old buttons, and I was fascinated by them. I tried in vain to think of reasons to convince my parents that I needed to keep jars full of buttons in my room, but I could never come up with a reasonable explanation, until finally, now in my mid 20's, I found some vintage shell buttons that I absolutely had to wear, so I made a button pendant and found that I couldn't stop with just making one.

I get my buttons from antique stores, garage sales, ebay, and friends who take pity on my button addiction and give me tins full of buttons that once belonged to grandmas and great aunts.

I now have no less than five large tins, jars, and vases full of buttons, so I'm sharing my treasure with you!

I'm also an avid scrapbooker, reader and writer, and an occasional poet. I love unique jewelry of all kinds. I'm a sucker for anything romantic or sentimental.
