I'm a twenty-two year old female living in Wyoming with my husband and wishing desperately that we were back in Kentucky. Four cats and four rats are kind enough to let us share their home, as long as we provide them with food and cuddlings.

By day I...wait, I'm a crafter, not a superhero. I need to stop watching so many movies.
I have awesome employment in a gaming cafe that allows me plenty of time and freedom to create my jewelry at work. It fills the time and gives me a creative outlet in what can often be a mind-numbing job.

Item names tend to be whatever idea springs to mind when I look at the piece. Many branches of myth fall prey. Colors, shapes, and stone meanings all play a part. It might become Gaea because the shades remind me of looking down on our planet from space. Running Antelope was the Southwest and a Native American story. My thought process can be as intertwined and confusing as a Celtic knot.

Silver and stone are my favorite materials, although fried glass also has a special place in my heart. The latest love of my life is a wire jig that helps me produce wonderful, swirly patterns. Blessed with a short attention span, I constantly work to concoct new designs. Random crafted items might turn up from time to time, considering how often I throw myself into new projects.

Jewelrymaking and beadwork are genetic for me. My late grandfather did silversmithing as a hobby, gifting his children and grandchildren with beautiful, wearable art. He and my grandmother were both rockhounds, so I have many memories of gem shows and rock hunts. My jewelry box still contains a myriad of their gifts. My grandmother often crafted beaded ornaments and gem trees (my personal favorite.) I'm striving to keep true to my roots and childhood.
