Welcome to Colleen Townend Jewelry in San Diego. I live here with my husband and son and share a shop space with 2 friends in North Park, www.sonopark.com.
I have been making jewelry since I was a teenager but became more serious about it within the last 10 years. I have always been an estate and yard sale junkie and have been collecting and using the vintage pieces I find to rework into new creations for years.
I am inspired by the memory of my dad who was a major hipster and who exposed me to artisan jewelry at a young age. My mom always wore a hand full of rings and just the right accessories and was quite the fashionista in her day too.
These creations are a reflection of my passion for jewelry and its origins. It is a great feeling when you wear a piece you love and when it is interwoven with vintage finds it holds a mysterious history.
