Spooning Around is "delectable spoon art" that began with an idea in January 2007.

It took nearly 3 months of experimentation with a batch of spoons that were totally unusable for eating or wearing to finally come up with a beautiful piece of jewelry.

The necklaces are made with the bowls of stainless steel soup spoons and baby spoons.

Each spoon in its vibrant colors, is filled with many stunning items, including real dried flowers which I personally pick and dry, buttons, charms, wires, glitter and various knick knacks that I find that will produce an eye-catching piece of jewelry.

Each necklace is filled with clear resin. Many necklaces have several layers of items so the process can take several days. The necklaces are etched with my signature and date on the back and come with a 30" satin cord.

I have over 200 necklaces in my inventory. Feel free to contact me if you are looking for something special.

I can custom make a necklace for you with your choice of colors, flowers and charms. Just let me know. There is an extra $5 charge for custom orders.

If you'd like to see a selection of my work, go to www.myspace.com/lizflyn and view my slide show. Many of the pieces there are for sale or have sold at shows.
