Bio

I can remember as a young child loving the elegance of fashion. I was intrigued with the clothing design from movies that I loved to watch - from the sweet Doris Day, to the sassy Kate Hepburn, to the classic Audrey Hepburn. Through the years I have been influenced by designers such as Edith Head, Coco Chanel, Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors and Valentino.

I remember making doll clothes fashioned out of plastic table cloths at 8 years old, and admiring certain dresses and jewelry of my mother’s that were classic. At 14, I learned to sew and made many clothes for myself; I hand-stitched a complete dress including the zipper and trim. I made my daughters’ First Communion dresses and veils, dresses for their formal dances, and multitudes of Cabbage Patch doll clothes. I have also done cross-stitch, candlewicking (sewing French knots onto fabric), decorated sweatshirts, various crafts, and knitting. I've cut hair for my family through the years, and I have enjoyed creating hairstyles and cutting my own hair since I was 13.

Now I am back to what I love - designing and sewing. I love selecting the fabric and trim to match the style of the pattern, and get excited as my creation comes to life.

On a personal note, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our family and love being with our 8 grandchildren. We go to the high school football games and love to watch movies

I hope you enjoy my fashions and would love to hear your comments or answer any questions you may have.
