Bio

Hello! I'm a busy homeschool mom with four children and three stepchildren from 16 all the way down to two. When I have a little time I like to create things that bring a little charm and beauty to our otherwise hectic life. I also like to share them with other people, like you. My husband, the love of my life and the most supportive man I've ever met, has patiently endured late dinners and a cluttered house, and has encouraged my creative whimsy. I hope you enjoy these offerings, which allow me to support my creative compulsions, help with our family budget, and finance my bead and craft obsession. Each piece I create takes a while to bring from start to finish, since I want each one to be unique and tell it's own story. I like to use the real stuff -- semi-precious stones, silver, czech glass, things that will sparkle or make a statement about the wearer or the gifter. If I do not want to wear it myself, why create anything with it? I'd like to try polymer clay, and will be exploring precious metal clay as soon as possible. No piece will be exactly the same, just as no two children or artists are the same! Inspiration can come from anywhere, and usually does, taking me in a whole different direction.
