Bio

katydid items are handmade with love by katie in wellington, n.z. The greeting cards are printed using the oh so wonderful gocco.

Where possible I use locally sourced materials and attempt to be as kind to the environment as possible.

Inspiration comes mostly from a love of lots of old stuff - like vintage stationery, children's books, nature books, figurines, kitchenalia, annuals, romance comics... etc! I also love hot pink, black, colours, woodland creatures, aotearoa new zealand, cups of tea, fingerless gloves, good housewifery...
