I once saw a bumper sticker...it didn't say to what it was referring, just that:
"it's not a passion, it's an obsession."

That's photography, to me.



• I am happy that God gives me the ability and opportunity to enjoy my creative pursuits and I thank Him for it. My supportive hubby of 28 years and my wonderful family and friends are a great help and much appreciated.

• I’m originally from Pennsylvania where I graduated summa cum laude from the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, #1 in my class. Although primarily trained in graphic design I love photography most of all.

• I’ve won an award or two including one from a Panoply Art Festival photography contest. I also designed the winning T-shirt art for Huntsville Hospital's 25th annual Autumn Chase Fun Run.

• My work has been called soft and elegant. I like open, quiet, lonely spaces and melancholy moments. I love surrealism. I’ve been told that occasionally my work reminds one of the art of Edward Hopper. I think it’s thrilling to be compared to him.

• I am a member of Winchester Road Baptist Church, Huntsville Art League and Mensa;)
