Bio

Out of a love for all things fiber related the business of Rainy Days & Wooly Dogs was born.

It is owned and operated by me…a stay at home mom of 4. The kids keep me super busy but to keep my sanity I taught myself how to knit. My kids may say I’m a little “obsessed”. I’ve been happily knitting for the last 10 or so years. After hooking up with local knitters at knit night (again….to save my sanity!) I got introduced to spinning as well and fell in love immediately. I have a Schacht Matchless and love it!!!

After starting up with a friend of mine, I have moved out on my own to bring you GothSocks, Gothlings and other fibery goodness.

I’m a goth girl at heart and have been “dark and twisty” for over 20 years! It was this love that brought about the idea for GothSocks. My business partner at the time showed me how to make self striping yarns and there has been no looking back ever since.
