I am a stay at home mom of two, one one year old and one four year old.

Me...in a long and rambling self descriptive text.
I am a tattooed, multicolored hair sportin, stay at home wife, mother to two children, crafty, fun lovin lady. I am mellow by nature and have a very easy going spirit. I like loud music with power cords, bright orange hair, fresh home raised produce, and natural living. I also like smoky bars, playing cards, dancing with my children, singing at the top of my lungs, and swimming laps for hours at a time.

Why I do what I do...
I like expressive and fun clothing on adults and children. We (my husband, 2 son, and myself) live on a budget and I loath cookie cutter children's clothes. I hate seeing the same shirt 45 times a day on 45 different children. I also cant stand super duper gender specific wardrobes. One or two shirts with a ball, or one or two frilly dresses, thats fine, but not everything should scream I AM A BOY/GIRL. At least that is my general feeling.

So when I had my oldest son, three years ago, I started making his clothing, and then gifts for friends. I have been sewing my clothes forever so why not shrink them down for kids. Most everyone I knew liked my ideas and garments and suggested I sell them.

So thats how I got here.

I strive to make original items that are fun, creative, bright, bold, comfortable, and a little strange, because, lets face it children are all those things, so why not their clothes. I try to make things I would wear and just scale down the size. Occasionally some things for moma and papa slip in to my shop, as well as plush toys, hats, and a few other items.

Enough about me, tell me about you.....I am all ears.

The origin of my shop name is simple enough. My Grandfather, rest him, used to call me Squidgen, among other nonsensical pet names, like Chicken Lice(this was when we were being ornery). But even though I have no idea what it meant, Squidgen still makes me smile to remember him calling me it.
