I hand make all kinds of awesome crafts between classes and in my free time including herbal soap, hand painted pet food bowls and kitty litter boxes, knitted products, sushi candles, and lots more. I started doing arts and crafts when I was inspired by the origional crafty college girl...my mom who made painted signs, clothes, and other itens to sell to her classmates back in the day. I started making soap and candles when I was in middle school. I always would have girlfriends over and have "crafting parties" where we would all bring over our latest projects such as scrapbooks, knitting, supplies to make bath products and whatever else popped into our heads. We would help each other finish these handmade masterpieces while gossiping about school, boys, and life. This is how my love for doing arts and crafts was born! Now, I knit with my daughter, teach new painting techniques to friends, and have helped others realize their creative side.
