Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting london purple's shop. Here's a little info about me and my business:

I started london purple because I love sewing purses and bags! My happiest time is when I'm sitting in my sewing room creating new patterns. I have one of those regular jobs that pays the bills and I really love what I do, but sewing is my real passion.

My grandma taught me to sew a very long time ago. I used to watch her and my great-grandma make quilts together and wanted to try it so bad. Finally I got to make one myself and although I loved sewing, it was so tedious. I started making bags because quilts take way too long! I still show my grandma every new style I create, I think she enjoys seeing how far I've progressed.

I got the idea to set up a shop when a friend asked how much it would be to buy a bag. I said I had never considered selling them! I did some research, found Etsy, and created london purple! I love the city of London so each purse is named after a different area of the city. I try to make it fit with where you might use the bag. The Paddington Travel Bag is the perfect size for a weekend trip, so it's great to have on the train when departing from Paddington Station.

I think a purse is a way to express yourself without a huge investment. Every woman has multiple purses (a small clutch, a fun printed tote, a stylish handbag, and a large travel bag just to name a few!) so I offer a variety of bags for all occasions.

Not everyone likes the same thing so I also offer customization on all of my styles. Choose the size and style bag that suits you and a fabric that you like, you can convo me for website suggestions. After all you're the one carrying your bag every day so it should be something you like right?
