Bio

Christine Dougherty is an artist working in Asheville's River Arts District. After earning a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia she moved to western North Carolina.
She became very involved in the outdoors, taking up whitewater kayaking, hiking, and camping
with a passion. These activities have given her an acute appreciation of the beauty of the area,
which she attempts to capture in her landscapes.
