Bio

Crafter, Song-writer, Baker, and Chronicler of the life of my backyard chickens, I am happy to show my quilts to you. I have been quilting for almost forty years. I started when I was in college and needed a bedspread and decided to make one using material that I had. I found I loved the art & craft of quilt-making and that once I had picked up the needle and thread had no inclination to lay them back down again.
I enjoy traditional patterns but I also like to embellish with ric rac, buttons, lace, and satin ribbons.
I have also had the good fortune to be the recipient of material collections of friends and family members which has enabled me to do work with a true heritage character and feel.
