Bio

Inspired by life, grounded in impressionistic tradition, with a contemporary style all her own, Robin Cheers' paintings represent life's unguarded moments. Her subjects range from relaxed interiors, to bustling restaurant scenes or sunny beaches, but they always focus on a human element and are painted with spontaneous strokes and lively color.

An avid sketcher, Robin's work demonstrates her technical skill while bringing gestural drawing elements into her oil paintings. Her style is immediate and painterly with engaging design. Robin's paintings are found in many private and corporate collections and collected internationally.

She's an artist member of the American Impressionist Society and Plein Air Austin, of which she is a founding member.
