Bio

I've always been inclined to draw or paint whatever comes to mind or whatever feeling I am trying to convey onto the canvas. The content of my paintings are a mixture of various ideas and themes. As new events venture through my life, new subjects appear in my paintings. The paintings can sometimes be abstract, surreal, fantasy or figurative.
This year I have also included jewelry making and have been fascinated by the jewel like appearence of sea glass. I collect sea glass from various beach shores and make pendants and earrings from them wrapped in sterling silver wire.
I am a graduate from the Univeristy of Texas, Pan American with a Bachelor's of Fine Art and I own a small studio, MONA Lisy Art Studio in McAllen, Texas. I offer art classes to childern between the ages of 7 to 12 years of age.
