ABOUT ME

Ello!! I’m so happy you can take sometimes to read this bio. My name is Lee Kah Yan. I bet this name is a bit hard to pronounce or remember. So you can call me Karen instead. It is my English nickname. I love it! It sounds really close to my Chinese name. I am 23 years old. I live in Malaysia. My country doesn’t have four seasons and natural disaster. I can feel sunshine everyday and sometimes I can see the rain everyday. Raining make me feel good and refresh!

Currently I am studying design manufacturing engineering in local university. Besides study, I like to do handmade accessories such as handphone straps, bookmarks, necklaces and pendants. I also like to make myself a scrapbook with junk papers (due to projects and assignments printing). Last but not least, I love drawing and I like handmade stuffs. The passion towards handmade stuffs is greater than study engineering. So why not try making it as activities to kill time (light up my day and feel happy with it) and to share with people who also interested at my handmade.

Last year I joined a website named Poupeegirl, and then I got exposed to a lot very cute and lovely handmade items. French macaroon caught my attention most. Therefore, I started doing a lot online research about the materials and ways of making it. The research period consumed me half year. I have tried lot of materials. The passion keeps me going after each and every failure. So finally I got it! I make all my creations with love and I put particular attention to details. My friends like my handmade very much, so I thought I should sell them.
