Bio

I've always enjoyed messing around with materials, even as a child but never felt that I had the discipline to stick to one form. I admired other people's work and still do but I never considered myself a "crafty person"

After I was no longer working at a job due to disability and my kids were old enough to be mostly on their own, I started to get back into trying various things and became more willing to experiment.

I tried various decorative painting techniques, faux finishes in order to save some decorating bucks, then I went on to try working with fabrics of various kinds, textile painting and dyeing, polymer and air dried clay, painting with acrylics and watercolor, beading and probably a number of other things I can't recall at the moment.

I made a whole lot of gift items and things to sell for church bazaars and occasionally sold an item privately or was commissioned to do a piece.

After visiting this site a number of times I was inspired to consider that I might actually be an artist or crafter, after all and decided to try to put my work forward in a different setting.
