Nate's a teacher and Erica's a social worker, and we start creating whenever we need to unwind and the precious free time allows. We've been happily married for over three years, and a lot of our creations are joint efforts. (In the case of the fused plastic projects, Nate does the ironing and Erica does the sewing.)

We love finding new uses for anything and everything, transforming one man's trash into another man's treasure, finding beauty in unexpected places. We are forever collecting, in hopes of creating some new inspired item to be used and loved in our home or yours. So, needless to say, the focus of most of our work is recycling and upcycling materials, using reclaimed items whenever possible.

If you'd come visit us in our apartment, you'd find an Urban Cottage. Our diverse products reflect our diverse style and interests, but the common thread through it all is the clever fusion of new and old and the subtle blending of subcultures.
