Bio

Stella Bella Arts is a one-woman show by artist Jo Doyle. I have been designing and creating unique adornment for 20 years. By day I run a very busy floral/garden center. My work is very often inspired by daily bike rides on a lovely wooded trail.

I live in Silver Spring Maryland with my handsome partner, a talented 13 year old daughter and quirky 11 year old son.

I am a member of CREST-Capital Region Etsy Street Team.

My designs incorporate the highest quality stones, Swarovski crystals, Czech and Indian glass, Bali and American made silver. Other materials used are antique silver, gold, brass or pewter findings, and hand carved wood or shell components. For non-knotted items, I use 49 strand Beadalon exclusively. That is 49 strands of super strong stainless steel wrapped very tightly into an .015" diameter. It's known in the biz as the "Cadillac of stringing material".

I make every effort to describe in detail the pieces I create. If there is a defect in the workmanship, I will be happy to repair or exchange the item for you, but due to the unique nature of my products there are NO REFUNDS. Special order items with names or custom phrases will not be accepted for exchange. I pack and ship items with the greatest care. I want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase!
