Bio

While I have been creating mosaics most recently, my first love is and always will be sewing. I have been sewing for more than 25 years and professionally for more than 10 years. At a very young age, I began making my own patterns as I could always envision something different than the pattern jacket showed. I also love to embroider - this combined with sewing led to the creation of my first crazy quilted denim bag about 8 years ago. They take some time to create so watch for them to show up on occasion.

Shannon is a budding young artist who loves to work in many different mediums. She is comfortable with drawing, painting, and creating art out of any materials she can get her hands on! She is also comfortable handling stained glass for mosaics - cutting and grinding - and hopefully we will see her create some beautiful mosaics for our other shop, oakstudiosofdesign, soon.
