Bio

Most times my art is inspired by a pun, a piece of cheese wax, a bottle of wine, or a whimsical thought from left field. Bright colors, found objects, and random miscellaneous items from the closet are the building blocks of my creativity. Like making a stew out of leftovers from the fridge, I look at what is right in front of me and see what it says to me. Sometimes the stew tastes funny, or takes way too long to cook, but I always discover “flavors” I would never have tried otherwise. From inception to completion, the pieces often decide to take a new direction or meaning on their own. I never embark with the hope of expressing any personal torture or triumph, no lofty academic concept or philosophical tenet. Rather, I simply hope that my art will make someone stop, look, maybe giggle and purchase.

Favorite Materials

Recycled and different found objects, Last couple of years I have been favouring corks, metal and vintage items
