Bio

I inherited my love of hand crafting from my mother. I learned to sew at the age of 10 and have expanded that creative interest to include making handmade gifts for my family and friends and creating vibrant art pieces using experimentation and curiosity.

As a fiber artist, and proud member of the etsy Maine Team, I thoroughly enjoy using mixed media to create unique pieces of art. I enjoy working with all forms of textiles, fibers, paints, wood, metal, beads and paper.

As an amateur photographer, my mind sees the world in colors and fabric. I automatically translate photos into 2 dimensional quilts and 3 dimensional fabric art.

I love learning new techniques and believe there will always be something new to learn for as long as I am interested in looking. With so much learning to do, I do not like to make the same thing twice. It is much more interesting to create something unique, don't you think?
