ABOUT THE BRAND: ELLA MODE

We are a fashion "apartment" but we strive for the hautest styles mixed with funky wearables that show off the making of style (yarn, button accessories).

Our handmade wears include accessories and handbags made of leather, fabric, custom/graphic printed fabric and textiles/fibre from the different arts.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER: LAUREN-NOELLE "ELLA" M.

I'm in my latening 20s and single. I've been sketching fashions since age 12 and sewing/knitting/crocheting for almost 2 years and more recently started weaving.

I also dreamed of fashion design since 12, (handbag lust came on strong later) and have been designing websites and graphics since about 19. I then attended college and foremost studied English->Writing.

I currently blog about fashion professionally, though I sadly must make up for the economy by selling my 2nd-hand designer bags too. I'm hoping this venture will pick up and help me out, but that's just the short term/small dream. :-)

A LA DON THE FAMILY:

It's not about crony-ism and handing out jobs, because well, we're really not paid, let alone rich. ;-) But I love including family in my work, from occasional modeling to my "hired"-BFF-hands for cutting and "punching holes". I'd go nuts without him, and all their help.
