Bio

My life and my art are an extension and expression of my interior journey meeting my exterior reality.

The places that I've lived out number my age.(30) I was born in Dakar, Senegal(West Africa). I went to art school in Pasadena, California(Art Center). I am currently living in Kansas City. Last year I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail(Mexico to Canada). I show my large work annually and participate in many benifit shows(Red Cross,Asian Bread of Life,One Campaign,Hip-Hop Academy) in the Kansas City Area.

When I was younger (up until 2 years ago) I played bass and would "sing" in bands(James Dean Trio). I love to give new experiences. When I'm in New York I do etch-a-sketch portraits on the subway. Models never hold quite as still as people on public transit.

Right now I am working on residency applications abroad and in the national parks to work on interactive painting installations based on time and journey.
