I am a healthcare recruiter by day and a handbag creater at night. Unlike others, I didn't grow up sewing or dreaming of being a handbag designer. It just kind of happened. While running an online accessories boutique featuring other designers' wares, I was always asked when I was going to start designing my own. I chuckled then only to find myself a year later cutting a bag apart to learn the interior secrets and thinking to myself, "I can do that!" It's not as easy as it looks, but I love a challenge and I love to learn. And I love the sense of pride when I can look at a finished bag and say, "Wow...I made that!" I believe that everyone should own a colorful, chic handbag. I just want to design fashionable, fun handbags that anyone can afford.

The item that launched my business was the Diaper Clutch...a product that came about out of necessity after the birth of my second son. Such a great and stylish idea! Even my husband loved carrying it around. It makes a wonderful baby shower gift!
