Bio

I have a passion for Art and Artist, and a love and respect for all crafts and people who create them.
I am from the great state of Texas, but have lived on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama for over 33 years.
As a Artist:
I started my artistic journey while in the third grade, by a very persistent teacher who encouraged me to use what ever I had on hand to produce ART "her words". Thank you Miss Applegate.
I am a self taught artist, working mostly in acrylics now, but I still like and use oil, watercolor and prismacolor pencils, ink, gel pens, markers or whatever else I can put my hands on.
My favorite subjects are landscapes, as I am a lover of nature. But I never know what will inspire me or where my brush will take me. I just go with the flow.

As a Crafter:
I am one of a few who believe that a craft is art and art is a craft, to me I have to have one for the other. How can anyone look at a fine piece of jewelry, a hand stitched quilt or other fine craft work and not call it art. This has always been one of my pet peeves by the art world.
I love trying everything and have dabbled in many different types of crafts over the years. One of my many interest is scrapbooking, cardmaking, ATC's, altered art, collage and most other paper crafts.
