Hi,I´m Stephanie Gerard,the designer of Atelier291d.I am actually german/french,but I live in Portugal for almost 20 years now.
I am a fashiondesigner whose passion for interior design made the hobby to a profession.I started a company who creates and manufactures furniture dedicated to babies,children and young people,but I spend most of my time creating with my own hands.
I find it fascinating to create new objects out of primary materials;I like to look at a pile of paper and then at one of our final products.
It brings me so much joy and I never have the sensation of repeting myself.Even if the form is the same,the colour changes is caracter,the enviroment in wich it is placed is always different to the one before!
But PapierMaché is not the only material I enjoy to work with,although it is really my favorite.
Every material I can lay my hands on is ready to wait for it's transformation: metal,wool,fabric etc.nothing is save with me!
