Bio

I have worked in the picture framing industry for the last seven years, which has allowed me to work with my two loves: art and picture framing.

I studied studio art at UNC-Asheville, where my concentrations were soft pastels and figure drawing.

Themes you will find in my work are landscapes, mountains, Italy, and love. The beautiful mountain landscape brings me back to the Blue Ridge Mountains whenever possible. Also, my time in Italy as a child and a recent trip there have inspired a series of Italian scenes.

My love of animals leads me to custom paint pet portraits. (Not to mention some other commissions of houses, people, and even a speedboat!)

Currently I work in oil pastels, acrylic, and oil paintings. I am always interested in hearing from you, so please feel free to convo me or ask questions!
