Bio

I am a self taught artist and former special education teacher. Mother to two busy girls, and one yappy miniture schnauzer. Beaded Things began in 1999 when I was faced with returning to work full-time when my first daughter Natalie (now 9) was a year old. While I loved teaching, I wanted a job that would allow me to be home with her yet not leave me completely isolated in "Mommyland". Beaded Things give me a great creative outlet - and a way to be more than mom.
