Bio
I'm a thirty-something fiber artist. I live in the rural North Idaho with my family. I'm addicted to color.....to fibers, especially wool! Ok, I admit it I'm obsessed with wool. Especially with yarn! I recently learned how to knit, and it's an amazing adventure. I have crocheted since I was 14, knitting is a whole new deal!
I've been an artist my entire life, I have intentionally been making things beautiful to sell since 1991. I'm also felter and make ladies hats (which you can see here:

I'm addicted to color, which I'm sure you can see in my work! All my products are feltable unless noted. My batts and yarn are made, using the best fibers I can find. I use wool from the renowned ultra animal friendly Homestead Wool and Gift Farm, and local sources that pamper their sheep. The wool I buy comes from animals that have names! They are never slaughtered for their meat. Be assured, I only buy from sources that treat their animals with kindness. Otherwise I couldn't live with myself!
All fibers are dyed with high end quality acid dyes. I love this dye, as the fiber soaks up all the color leaving the dyebath clear, and free of dyes. I feel these dyes are far gentler on the environment.
