Bio

I'm an artist, a writer, and a dilettante. I make pretty, romantic, dark, frilly, fantastical, historically-inspired, genderbendy things.

My style is steampunk rococo post-apocalyptic carnival romantic gothic lolita cyber military victorian dolly faery circus medieval celtic! I'm fascinated by fops, dandies, vampires, courtesans, hermaphrodites, fairytales, red hair, kittehs, and eggs florentine.

My art is inspired by Art Nouveau, the Pre-Raphaelites, 90s Disney animation and shojo manga. Some of my favourite artists are Aubrey Beardsley, Thomas Canty, and Victoria Frances. My favourite movies are Serenity and Stage Beauty. My favourite TV shows are Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Torchwood, Blood Ties, Robin of Sherwood, The Tudors, and Deadwood. Some of my favourite music is Placebo, HIM, Emilie Autumn, Abney Park, Loreena McKennitt, and VNV Nation. My most favourite books ever are the Wraeththu series by Storm Constantine.

And right now I'm an english/medieval studies student.
