Bio

Eiluj (pronounced "eye-luzh") Creations was founded on July 1, 2003 by Julie Sindora (formerly Moenkhaus), budding entrepreneur and hobbyist. Although Julie had been sewing and crafting for years, the dream of making her hobby a business was finally realized.

When Julie received her first sewing machine at the age of nine, her passion began. She began by sewing doll clothing and experimented with garment shapes for herself. During high school and college, Julie moved away from sewing but continued to demonstrate her creative skills through writing and crafting. As a self-supporting young adult, Julie began to once again experiment with alterations to her own clothing but without the aid of a sewing machine, her options were limited. Finally one Christmas her parents bought her a sewing machine. Julie has sat at that very machine almost every day since then.

Today Julie expresses herself through the creation of formal and wedding gowns as well as durable, stylish, and classic children's clothing. As a custom dressmaker, she strives to create the best possible garments for her clients by choosing flattering styles and complimentary fabrics. The classically styled children's clothing is designed to stand the test of time while still looking great. What more could a parent need?

Now that Julie has a son of her own, she spends a lot of time dreaming of ways to make his life better and her life easier. Check back often for her latest 'inventions' that will hopefully save you time and trouble and maybe even some space in your diaper bag (nothing beats one product that serves lots of needs).
