Bio

As a little girl I loved drawing princesses and spent hours dressing my doll Blanka whose wardrobe was handmade by my Czech grandmother. My sister and I spent summer days making mud patties and feeding imaginary animals.
As an adult and professional theater designer my favorite design work was set and costumes I did for the musical ‘Into the Woods’ and all other opportunities I’ve had to create fantasy worlds. Movies I love most are all magic realism or straight up fantasies. So Katkaland was an inevitable next step.
