In my non-crafting life, I'm an RN at the St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs. I work both post-partum (mom/baby) and in the nursery (where I attend deliveries). I love my job, my coworkers, and my patients. I'm truly blessed!
I have a wonderful husband and the most adorable son in the world (I know - I'm biased).
Until recently, my art consisted mainly of drawings and paintings, with a few sculptures thrown in for good measure. Sewing was not something I thought I'd ever do, but my son loves a show called Oswald (about a friendly blue octopus) and I wanted to get him a stuffed Oswald. Sadly, I could only find them on Ebay for a ridiculous amount of money. With some coaxing from my hubby, I bought fabric, experimented with making patterns, and fell in love with sewing.
The rest, as they say, is history.
